SUMMER 2024 PROGRAMS
Nature's Friends (English & French) (ages 4-6)
This program is designed as an introductory camp experience for children, while also complementing Ontario’s curriculum. Activities will focus on nature connection, resilience, biodiversity, language, math and so much more. Each session will consist of a nature-based theme, around which new vocabulary and activities will be centered. Examples of themes include: pollinators, flowering plants, insects, and trees. Activities include species naming, creek exploration, cooperative games, gardening, story time, nature crafts and so much more!

*French* Direct French instruction through games and activities is offered. Once you sign up you will have the option to choose.
Cost: $335.00 (tax incl.)
Eco-Explorers (English & French) (ages 7-9)
This program is similar to Nature's Friends, however inquiry around these themes will be more in depth, the direction of which will be driven largely by the interests and passions of participants. Examples of themes include: pollinators, flowering plants, insects, and trees. Activities include species naming, creek exploration, cooperative games, gardening, story time, nature crafts and so much more!

Outdoor Explorers (ages 9-13) (English)
This program is designed to offer participants the opportunity to connect with their physical surroundings by foot and by bike. Each session will center around a different theme, and will always begin with an introduction to bike safety and basic bicycle maintenance. Participants should come prepared with a bicycle and a properly fitting bicycle helmet, and be confident riding a bicycle.
**Please Note** If your child is 9 years of age they MUST be a confident biker to join this group.
Each day will bring activities that connect to Ontario’s Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Physical Education curricula, in ways that are fun and engaging for participants. Some activities include geocaching, identification of plant and invertebrate species, invasive species education, and orienteering.
Cost: $335.00 (tax incl.)

Volunteer Opportunities
We have limited volunteer opportunities available.

Responsibilities consist of:
- Helping lead group activities
- Setting up learning experiences in the morning and helping clean up
- Biking and modeling bike safety
- Being a responsible role model for all age groups
