Outdoor Explorers - Session B (Ages 9-13)

This program is designed to offer participants the opportunity to connect with their physical surroundings by foot and by bike. The session will begin with an introduction to bike safety and basic maintenance. Participants should come prepared with a bicycle, and a properly fitting bicycle helmet.

Each day will bring activities that connect to Ontario’s Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Physical Education curricula, in ways that are fun and engaging for participants. Some activities include geocaching, identification of plant and invertebrate species, and orienteering/mapping activites and SO much more!
