Outdoor Explorers (ages 9-13) (English)

Are you ready to embark on an exhilarating journey that combines adventure, physical health, exploring nature, and knowledge about our local area? This program is not just about riding; it’s about immersing yourself in your environment while enhancing your cycling skills!

Bike Safety First: Kick off the session with an engaging introduction to bike safety that will keep you and others safe.

Don’t forget! Participants should come prepared with a bicycle and a properly fitting bicycle helmet to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Get ready to pedal your way to fun and fitness!

Each day will bring activities that connect to Ontario’s Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Physical Education curricula, in ways that are fun and engaging for participants. Some activities include; geocaching, identification of plant and invertebrate species, orienteering/mapping activities and SO much more!
Volunteer Opportunities
We have limited volunteer opportunities available.

Responsibilities consist of:
- Helping lead group activities
- Setting up learning experiences in the morning and helping clean up
- Biking and modeling bike safety
- Being a responsible role model for all age groups
